Dr Elena Tamas
Dentist - DMD, Specialist Orthodontist GDC - 219233Dr. Elena Tamas brings her gentle and thorough approach to orthodontic treatment to Hythe, Southampton, nestled in the picturesque New Forest region. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2003. In 2006, she completed a three-year postgraduate training program in orthodontics, earning the title of Specialist in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopaedics. Elena’s extensive training enables her to treat both children and adults with a range of orthodontic appliances to the highest level of care and expertise.
She is a Specialist Orthodontist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and a specialist member of the British Orthodontic Society.
With 20 years of dedicated orthodontic experience, Dr. Tamas is a highly respected professional, who has created thousands of beautiful and healthy smiles over the years.
Elena understands the profound impact a beautiful smile can have on a person’s confidence and well-being. She leverages cutting-edge technology and modern aesthetic concepts to create stunning smiles, while also prioritising oral health and airway considerations. Her expertise lies in aesthetic appliances, with a special interest in aligners and lingual appliances, ensuring that treatments are as discreet
and comfortable as possible.
In addition to her proficiency with aesthetic appliances, Elena is passionate about multidisciplinary orthodontics. She collaborates closely with other dental specialties to achieve optimal aesthetic outcomes for her patients. Her commitment to excellence and personalised care has made her a trusted name in the field of orthodontics.
Dr Theo Tamas
Dentist - DMD, DipImpDent RCS (Eng) Adv Cert, GDC 208068Theo Tamas graduated from dental school in 2006 and has since built a distinguished career in general dental practice, with a specialized focus on dental implants. His dedication to advancing his expertise led him to pursue the Implant Dentistry Diploma at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons. Among his cohort, Theo was one of the select few awarded the diploma at the Advanced level, a testament to his exceptional skills and knowledge in the field.
Recognized for his expertise, Theo was subsequently invited to become a tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons, where he mentors other dentists in implant surgery. This role highlights his commitment to education and his desire to elevate the standards of dental implantology. While many dentists place implants, few have trained to the advanced level that Theo has achieved, making his contributions to the field particularly noteworthy.
Throughout his career, Theo has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of cosmetic dentistry and dental implants on patients’ self-confidence. Dr Jim Overton
Jim is a very experienced dentist and a long term member of the Beech Dental team. Jim went to school and college locally before training as a dentist at University College London. Jim has a special interest in endodontics and restorative dentistry. In his spare time he is a keen woodworker and designer.
