Crowns

A crown or cap may be needed when a tooth has a large filling or has sustained a fracture. It maintains the structural and functional integrity of the tooth and can also improve its appearance.

Dental implants can support crowns or dentures in a way that is similar to natural tooth roots. We use implant systems from recognised manufacturers with a proven clinical record.

White fillings

Composite fillings restore teeth damaged by decay or injury. They provide an aesthetic alternative to traditional amalgam fillings and are carefully matched to your natural tooth colour.

Bridges

Replacing a missing tooth promptly helps prevent neighbouring teeth shifting and avoids later bite or gum problems. Options include conventional bridges, cantilever bridges, Maryland adhesive bridges and implant-supported bridges.

Where suitable, implants allow adjacent teeth to remain untouched. Our technicians craft each bridge with close attention to the natural shape, size and colour of your other teeth.

Root canal treatment

Root canal treatment can save a tooth damaged by decay, injury or infection. The infected pulp is removed, the internal canals are cleaned and shaped, and the tooth is filled and sealed.

1. The area is numbed with local anaesthetic.
2. An opening is created to reach the pulp chamber and canals.
3. Damaged or infected tissue is removed.
4. The canals are shaped, flushed and filled with a biocompatible material.
5. The opening is sealed before a permanent crown or restoration protects the tooth.

More complex cases can be referred to a specialist endodontist, and we collaborate with experienced specialists where required.
